The Rudolf Steiner School Kings Langley is one of the longest established Steiner Waldorf schools in the UK. The school encompasses 4 kindergartens and a full lower, middle and upper school. On top of our Waldorf Curriculum students take GCSE and A level exams and all go on to have exciting careers in many different paths of life including the highest rated universities. Many of our former students return regularly for social events.
The school has 360 pupils and is located in beautiful countryside surroundings just 30 minutes by train from the centre of the capital.
We are looking for YOU to join our team of class teachers.
You are a Steiner Waldorf teacher who enjoys being part of and contributing to an established school community which has at its heart the students and the Waldorf curriculum.
You will have a Steiner teacher training qualification and experience of teaching children from a wide range of backgrounds. You will also have a flexible approach to work and a willingness to expand your own professional expertise.
You may be a mainstream teacher who has a great interest in Steiner Waldorf education and is keen to make the switch to an exciting new venture into a curriculum that is so carefully tailored to the developmental needs of the child.
The class teacher is responsible for one class of children between the ages of 6 and 14. The school is happy to consider different career options for successful candidates including taking a class through from 1 – 8, job shares or a specific middle school post. Our interview panel will be happy to discuss different opportunities with successful candidates.

Salary range £23,305 – £26,686, depending on organisational and pastoral responsibilities. Further remuneration is possible for taking on additional responsibilities.
